A recent DoorTwo survey asked clients for the five most difficult tasks they face as managers.

The results:

  1. Employee Conflicts
  2. Motivation of Employees
  3. Common Goals / Clarity
  4. Discipline / Termination
  5. Communication

Each of these tasks have high impact on employee commitment. A recent article from the Harvard Business Review, entitled “The Service Right,” points out that employee commitment and loyalty leads to customer loyalty, which is the cornerstone of success for service-related companies.
