Brad Spencer, Ph.D.

Founder
The impact of working with Brad is that colleagues with whom I had significant conflict and misalignment, I was able to get a better understanding and agreement. I am more successful overall. – CEO/ Executive Coaching Client

Bradford F. Spencer, PhD, is the Founder of DoorTwo and a long-standing advisor to senior executives across healthcare, technology, finance, and sports. His work is grounded in applied behavioral science and decades spent helping leaders see themselves, and their organizations, more clearly.

Brad began his career in organizational development at Hillsdale College’s Dow Leadership Conference Center, where he was introduced to the work of David McClelland and Rensis Likert. After roles at Bank of America and Mattel, he founded the firm that would later become DoorTwo, guided by a belief that organizations often produce managers when they need leaders.

Clients experience Brad as thoughtful, direct, and deeply curious, with a habit of asking questions that reframe long-standing conflict. He is the author of The Straight Line: The Shortest Distance Between You and Your Results, published in 2018. He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a PhD in psychology.

Outside of work, Brad lives with his wife, Connie, enjoys time with his grandchildren, and always appreciates and a well-timed prank.
